You do not need to get the fenders and fuel tank from a cyclops super only. They are the same for all cyclops. The Supers have a set of spacers that go under the seat to give the extra clearance. Part# 703-1815 and 703-1814.

You could probably fab up a fuel tank to fit under the existing fenders, shouldn't be to big a deal especially if you don't have a rear PTO.

The engine break-in is complete so it's time for an oil/filter change. Updating from conventional to synthetic and replacing the champion plugs that came on the engine with NGK as well.
![]() During the oil change I extended the drain so it doesn't make a mess all over. I left the quick drain off because for whatever reason oil was leaking by. Possibly the o-ring was damaged in the fire. Also, added a oil temperature gauge as well. I'll be working on the gauge set up tonight. ![]() ![]()

Today I worked on making a gauge mount for my auxiliary gauges. I'm removing the ammeter and installing a oil temp gauge; relocating the hour meter to the gauge pod I made and putting oil pressure in it's place. With the hour meter on the gauge pod, there will be another gauge that cycles through volts, IAT/underhood temp, and time. Pretty cool little gauge for 15 bucks.

It has 1 temperature probe that you can mount anywhere to measure air temperature. I'm placing mine under the hood to monitor under hood temp. Measures from -67F to 257F. It also is a volt meter and clock.

So I got the oil temp gauge (which is also a voltmeter as well apparently,) and the hourmeter and Air Temp/Voltmeter/clock all mounted up. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
Unexpected voltmeter on the oil temp gauge. It reads volts for the first minute with the key is turned on. Then switches to temp and will read out voltage every 10 minutes. ![]() Voltmeter on lower gauge ![]() Clock. I think the 'keep alive' battery that came with it is bad so it resets every key cycle. So it's basically a timer right now, lol. ![]() Air Temp. I have it placed under the hood close to in air filter intake for a makeshift IAT sensor. ![]() ![]() After about an hour of mowing in 70 degree weather, the oil temp stabilized about 203F (Gauge reads in C.) ![]() ![]() Underhood temp was interesting to watch. It was around 117F. Definitely need to work on the hot air ducting. ![]()
