Need headlights for SGT 2182
The headlight sockets & bulbs are missing. Tail lights work fine. Can the sockets & bulbs found at places like advance auto be made to work? I was thinking of something like tail light sockets & bulbs and trim them with dremel somehow to make them fit & lock in?
Has anyone tried this?

These are the 2 styles Cub used. 1st is the old halogen style 2nd is the later bulb style. I see that Cub only wants about $28.00 per bulb for the early style. How nice of them.

Yes that's nice of them. It's the early style I need. I guess that's why they were missing. I'll explore some options for retrofit. Not that I really need for night work , just don't like things not working.

Just a FYI if you need a new grill they come with the later style head lights. May be worth considering.

Thanks, good to know, but grill is in good shape. I think I can get some halogens to work, just concerned about getting something too hot and melting. I'll figure something out. The diagram you sent helps to see what was in there before.
