Use a hacksaw.hehe
now you know the answer is to look in the manual .
Maybe someone else can chime in and help you out if you do not want to go that route.

Torch or plasma cutter would be faster!

I don't find it in the manual.

There's an easy way and a hard way. I just can't remember which way is which.

I have bought tractors that appeared to have been worked on by jokers like you two.

I think pulling the rear is easier than pulling the engine. It's a matter of personal option.

FWIW.

I knocked the pins out of the rear coupler to the pump. Slid the coupler and fan forward on the shaft and lifted the driveshaft straight up and out.

I was going to go with angle grinder

I'd slide the engine forward if I couldn't finagle it out otherwise.
