Update
Ok, I got finally got it running, it finally built up enough compression to fire off and it poured smoke from the breather, exhaust and dipstick. Too much crankcase pressure.
So I put the extra k241as on it. Fired right up and ran good. The extra engine has a .030" piston in it and some scoring on the cylinder walls but it runs. It will probably use some oil but it will keep me moving until I can get the original K241 rebuilt. Back to the original engine. I pulled the head and at TDC eveything looks fine. At BDC you can see a large gap along the edge of the piston where it has eroded, maybe .100". Probably from the starting fluid. There were no markings on the piston except a large "A". I am assuming the engine has never been rebuilt.
