Default Craigslist scams

I guess I've been lucky so far with everything that I've been selling on craigslist. 5 tractors 2 engines and a lot of smalls. In the last two days I've had about 12 scams trying to get me Bite. this last one almost got me thanks to my daughter who caught this last one and stop me. You know the story agree to price, send you extra money cash Check, then will send for pickup. My daughter found this website that showed that email address was a scam address. Going to stop using craigslist for a while. Was just trying to let the local cubbers get at this collection. Will have to find another way.

if the buyer refers to what your selling as 'the item' its a scam, if there not willing to come to your house or meet locally its 99% a scam. no special website needed

Yep.

I would not stop buying or selling on CL because of the scams as they are pretty obvious.
And if not , error on the safe side and wait for the next buyer or seller to come along.

Finally talk to my daughter. What she did was to Google the Email address that the message was sent on . Other people posted that they were having scam problems with it. She did not use a site. Sorry for the miss information. Rich

That's why you have them put in there phone # to call them. No # no return email! Works.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
