Gotta love those 102s Sorry I cannot help with an engine. The grill in mine is as far as I know the correct one. It is made of about 1/4 inch rods welded to the same size cross rods. 2 of the vertical rods are longer and fit into recesses in the nose piece.

This is what the grill looked like on my 71. I my have a panel for the headlight area laying around if you don't need headlights. Second pic is how it looks now. Painted the grill with some chrome spray paint in a can. Original grill was chromed.

Yep the one Sam Mac shows looks correct. Some folks put a screen behind the grill but is not needed as air goes from back to front and out the grill.
