Default The woods

Was mowing our "nature trail" behind the house and found this. Also look closely, both deer are bucks! The cub was running full bore and mower deck running and the were both within 20 yards of me and not at all concerned thst I was there.

That's cool---both the deer and the nature trail. What a wonderful backyard resource you have. The next time you count your blessings, I'd count that one twice!

Thanks gentlemen. I only have 6 acres, but it has a large variety of wildlife as you ser. Lots of crab apples and ferns and nut trees to keep the critters fed. This trail started as a thorn chocked deer path. Just keeps gettin longer and wider but the family and I love it.

Lol. Yep, caught it. Had to chain it to the shed for awhile, but now it behaves like a good cub. Even taught it tricks! Mowin the lawn, plowin and tillin the garden, you know, the essential stuff every cub should know! Thanks for the compliments guys!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
