I want to keep it as original as possible but ultimately the wife will get what she wants lol.
Wish me luck. I have her convinced that it should wait till fall + its cold as heck here just got a dusting of snow so not much garage work for me.

Finished up the 1320. Decided to keep the paint original going to tear it back down this fall and re-paint it. Took it out for it's first mow today, very impressed I like this little mower. Cuts great and more than enough power for what it dose. Didnt think I would like it .MTD yuck lol but it kinda grew on me.

There's nothing wrong with these 1330 lawn tractors if they are used for what they were intended. Mine I bought new in 1992 and have all of 100 hours a year on it. (no hour meter)
One hydro replacement. They were a good little tractor compared to today's lawn art.
Yours looks good for it's age. I put a 44" deck on and it handles it well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
