The funny part Mike is here it is May 1 and with all the cubs I have I don't have one ready to mow with!

Mowed for the 3rd time today. It was the 2182's turn today. Man the Supers kill grass fast. Very relaxing afternoon. Have some more to do tomorrow so I may use the 1782, yeah I know tough choice.

Swapped the QA42A for a mower deck, and swapped out the chained ags for turfs on 149#2 last weekend. I also changed to summer weight oil. I mowed some of the taller spots last weekend. Looks like I'll be mowing again tomorrow. So that puts the first mow at April 27. I think that's about the usual time for me. I have started earlier and later other years.

Good grief, you got half a days work just to get switched over to mowing grass! I'm far enough south that if we crank them up every month or so we're good to go. They all need servicing though just as soon as I can find a roundtuit.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
