Default Rough 482

Been without a Cub in the garage for too long now so when this one popped up I still almost let it go by.Little 482,pretty rough and the Briggs may be a brick but the seat is nice.Never saw a tractor so packed with mouse stuff I swear where ever it was stored can't have any insulation left in it it all went in the tins of this Briggs.Pulled the engine scraped all the junk out of it and finally got it to turn a full revolution but feels very rough. It may end up as a parts machine I have to tinker around with it a little more. Here are a few pics I took the top of the grill took a good shot and is cracked but
the rest of the sheet metal is ok.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
