I did it!! The Winsun chinese diesel has been ordered for the 782. It should arrive in a couple weeks. I will take some pics and start a new thread when it arrives. I can't wait!!

I got the twin. They claim 22 peak HP. The specs say 16 continuous. 28 ft/lbs of torque. I think it should hold it's own!!

Does anyone know any Kohler or Kubota torque specs?

I would like to try the single out at some point too!

I was thinking of using the same twin in a roller that I had. But got kinda spooked on the lack of reviews . I hope it turns out great and that will be enough for me to order one. Seems the singles are everywhere

Cool project!

I'm not sure on the Kubota's, but I did some figuring on the K series motors and IIRC, I estimated a 12 HP at around 16 ftlbs. I can't find any solid numbers in the spec sheets to back that up. dvogtvpe may know, he has dyno'd several.
