Well, I can't just shut up and let it go at that. If it is her tractor then so be it, pink is the color! Now if you have to drive it around I would probably settle for the couch and paint it yellow!

I like the design you came up with, I also like the picture Mountain Heritage put up if it is going to be done.

You guys have the TO paint covered, but think of it this way... If you DON'T paint it, that Cub will be YOURS and the divorce may be cheaper in the long run.

Wow.....that was a lot of tug-of-war!!! She said it to me twice, but we were kind of joking. I kind of see it as shameful in a way, but fun in another......I may just play dumb, since she says I'm good at that already and see if it comes up again. I can always say, "Honey, I thought that you were joking about that." Then, take action if I need to.... but I would want to acquire another cub to do that to....not the ones that I already have....and the zero turn doesn't get painted pink no matter what!!!!! Thanks for the advice and years of experience. I may be contacting some of you that are close to me if there are any fighting words and I need a place to stay and hang my underwear from your ceiling fan!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
