I still haven't been able to get my shift lever for the hydro trans on the 127 to move, i put a vice grip on the shaft behind the "dash" but its pretty tight in there...I've been hitting it with PB Blaster so im hoping it starts eating through the rust...
I also took the deck off the 122 to sharpen the blades and I noticed the mower deck mount is actually broken. Looks like i'll be getting the welder out tonight b/c my grass is growing quick with all this warm weather we've been having... I am goign to an auction sat morning and im looking for a plow, i've been reading the forum and I understand there are wide frame and narrow frame tractors...Im assuming that the plow needs to match up?? Any advice on what plow to look for would be appreciated! Thanks. |

NOPE.....Rear implements don't care if it is NF or WF because the back end of the IH Cubs are all the same.

IH made two front blades, being 42" and 54". The blades will work on either NF or WF cubs. The ONLY difference, is the Sub Frames. There are three Sub Frames for the NF Cubs, being: one for the CCO, one Bolt On, and one for the QA (Quick Attach). Then there is one for the WFs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
