My landslide is long and runs up under the shear. If i take the landslide off is that going to hurt the shear when plowing. It looks like it reenforces the shear. The landslide looks like it will come off easy with undoing 3 bolts but i want to make sure before i do this if this is what your talking about.

Post a pic. I don't have my plow where I can get to it to look. I think someone made the tail on yours. It may not be separate. May have to make a piece to go in it's place.... only shorter.

My landslide is one long piece and is held on with 3 bolts. I checked a friends plow just like mine & his is the same as mine.

Yes, so you will have to make a shorter piece to go in it's place. Like Merk said, you have to have one...... just need to get rid on the long tail.
