Default New guy from Kentucky

Hi everybody my names Justin. I currently own a 1968 Cub Cadet 72 that's some what custom. I've always liked old garden tractors and riding mowers. I've had a pretty good collection of garden tractors over the years. I also buy, sell, and trade as a hobby. I was referred to OCC by a member on another forum. I hope to learn a lot and help out a much as I can.

Justin,
Welcome to OCC. Look around and make yourself comfortable. I think you will fit right in with your nice custom trike 72. So many nice folks here to talk Cubs with. Glad you found us.
By the way where are you in KY? I used to travel to Bowling Green in a prior life.
Regards,
Chris

Justin

Welcome to OCC. I took the liberty of turning your avatar right side up. Hope to see some of your custom work. This is where it should go.

Thanks everybody. I'm looking forward to learning and helping out all I can. There's some nice tractors here

Sam Mac, Thanks for fixing that. I'm not sure why it did that.

Sugarmaker, I'm in a little town called Flemingsburg. About 1 hour from Lexington Ky.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
