I have a friend who is an electrical engineer. Quoting him "bad grounding is the source of many electrical problems." Good luck with your 149. I've been looking at one.......love the front end design.

Back acouple of yrs ago I thought I had a grounding issue myself,I took everything apart and cleaned everything I could find but it still didn't solve the problem.I was chatting with a buddy at work and he said change the positive battery cable.He said bad grounds causes the system to draw excess current and can crystalize the copper wires causing them not to flow current properly.I figured what the heck I've tried everything else.Stopped and got a new cable on the way home,got there and installed it and whala,she spun over like it was supposed to.This is what solved my problem with starting issues.If all else fails be sure and put new cables on it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
