Hello I am from Ledyard CT. I just bought my first cub. It is a 102 it has a 3point hitch and a hydraulic pump. I might have payed to much for it but I like it. Came with with attachments. I hope this thing can plow threw snow or I will not be happy.we have a 126 at work that we use to toe cars and trucks in and out of the shop..... And it is awesome for that it just pulls and pulls. To make a statement about the state we live in we need to become a red state for some time.

you shouldnt have trouble at all plowing some snow with it. i have a 102 myself (one of four tractors i own) and it does great so long as you have chains and a mostly flat driveway. I happen to live on a hill so i use it to clear a path to my wood pill and clean off my patio havent had a problem with it so long as the chains are on it. also you should be carefull of the lift rod for the plow as it tends to bend in heavy snow or dirt ( i bent mine plowing gravel) so i make a new one out of two steel rods.

I'm in Quaker Hill, I'm looking forward to finishing up my 122. I have a plow and blower but I have no clue on what one to use...

Hello all just became a member about two weeks now.I have lived in Connecticut my hole life. I have been around cub cadets for a long time but never had the need to own one until now.I just purchased a cub 102. I am a auto tech and working on this cub is a breeze....As long as you own a welder. (Hehe).Thought I say hi.
Thanks for the shout out.

I just bought my first house in the west end of New Britain earlier this year and picked up my 105 for lawn and snow duty. It's like having a mini car to tinker with!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
