Pics from today as promised. Think I will be able to put a temp gauge in the place where the existing sender is now, may have to tap it for the bulb but no big deal.

take some pics of where you drill them while you have it apart, unless you already have posted some before.
What is the handle sticking out the back, a relief for pushing the trans or something?
