For whatever it's worth since you're somewhat local to me...
You can have my K341AQS with busted crank for nothing if you want to swap my professionally rebuilt K341AQS into my 1650 for me. I've run out of energy for dealing with it. 1 - I know for a fact that the crank is broken (maybe your 169 has a good crank, and probably rod/piston, to make the combo a running solution). 2 - Nothing leaves my property until my 1650 is running and driving around my lot. 3 - Bring your own tools and supplies. I will provide an engine hoist, moral support, and all of the beer/coffee you care to drink (I'll provide meals too since I love to cook! I've been told my ribs/wings are the best around!). That's certainly not the best deal of the century, but that's what I've got, and it won't cost you more than a couple of hours of labor + gas. |

I hope so! Making ribs (because I'm not about to make like, 1/2 of a "restaurant" rack of ribs.... pointless) costs me about $90. Wings? About another $90 (I'm going to make at least 150 if I even bother to heat the oil up).
I won't serve ribs w/o the fiance's legendary garlic mashed spuds (another $20)..... ...all the beer you can drink, up to you? So... I'm in the deal for ~$250, plus a free broken engine, -some labor, for whoever wants it! ![]() -------------- I'm somewhat passionate about this topic because I own 2 cubs, one is completely not going to run (broken crank) and the other popped it's head TODAY... I'm into these things for like $5k and I have a pair of them...at all times one needs to be going! I'm OK with another $250, plus free busted motor, to get that to happen! -------------- I "could" put my new motor ($1200) in myself, but like I said, my give a damn is busted... ![]() |

I will give it a great deal of consideration, but right now I'm overloaded. I have never used an engine hoist--just pick them up and put them in, but my 14hp was quite heavy this last time I put it in my 149--guess I'm getting older. Right now, I am working two jobs throughout the week for anywhere from 10-16 hrs./day and overseeing 3 properties that are an hour away from each other. I'm booked up for a while now, but will see if something frees up. Thank you so much for such a generous offer. BTW> Like Groucho Marx in "At the Circus", I try to limit myself to no more than about 42 cups of coffee! ![]() Cub Cadet 123

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
