got my 1200 running this weekend.....seems to have a vibration....i did use the iso rubber mounts,tried pushing clutch in but it doesnt help any.....its all in the engine.....anyone have any ideas to why?......the only thing i changed in the engine was the piston....front crank seal...oil pan....didnt know if all the 1200's had a slight vibration

Did ya use new rubber mounts??
I really dont know and am sure you will get a better answer!!! maybe there hard and that motor is a shakin!!! ive read a tiny bit on this from the guys, i beleive theres an upgrade, but like i said im no expert and the newest tractor i have is a 67, lol good luck, that thing is lookin great!!! thanks Jason...i did reuse the old mounts but they are in good shape...the engine runs great just has that crazy vibration....at idle its smooth

i just wonder if its the balance gears now???? i did check them when the engine was torn down.....they seemed tight as can be.....i did not have the crank and gears out though....does anyone know if you can check these through the cam cover hole.....i just dont want to have to pull the engine

i just pulled the engine back out of my 1200 to check everything for the vibration problem,for some reason i was thinking this one had the balance gears but it dont...i just couldnt remember to be honest,there was a little bit of metallic debris in the oil pan,could have been some left over i guess but i have checked crank end play...its all good .015......rod end play is also .015....cant see anything wrong,roll it over and check cam timing mark to the crank mark...its all good....cant seem to figure why it has a vibration.....any ideas??????????
