Default A little seat time with the 125...

Hi everyone!!

I got the 125 out this morning to grade the drive.. It's a little work but fun.. It would help if I could find a hyd lift to put back on it ( that I could afford)... It's in the process of being set up to run a tiller.. The sleeve hitch bracket is homemade.. The box blade is a brinly toolbar( which I found out through reading the forum).. It works.. Not as good as a #40.. But oh we'll..

I hope y'all are enjoying your day too!!

Stuart

I like that sleeve hitch adapter; you can leave the tiller gear box in place.

125s are awesome!

Thanks!! The tiller pin is stuck in the casting, so I came up with the idea and a friend turned it on a lathe.. The first try didn't work, but this one works great.. Pull three pins and it all falls off..

125's are awesome, but so are 147's...

I'm not always a fan of mods on original equipment, but those modified or re-outfitted brinly adapters are awesome guys!!! Thanks for sharing pics and that 125 looks like it did a great job grading the drive.

I always like seeing these tractors doing other chores besides mowing. After all, a garden tractor is a lot more than just a mower!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
