what does (hvc) mean?

btw..do you know what (hvc) means? .. As in 0570 = 1200 (hvc)

This is what I found on another forum. No one really has proof of the meaning.
HVC likely means Home Vehicle Compliant. HVC is shown only on the Quiet Lines models, which were intended to comply with proposed congressional legislation concerning suburban noise pollution. The legislation was drawn up and proposed in committee hearings but never enacted. However, IH was ready if it had been.

Thanks for all the info guys!! Found the motor tag under probally 30 years of grease and grime and yes its a 12hp k301.
Wonder how "rare" if at all the 1250's are with hydro lift. Looks to be factory. Hard to tell with the age of these ole things. If it was a conversion, someone did a darn good job!!! Thanks again!! John
