If it's 22F out....you live with the dirt! :biggrin2.gif:
As far as keeping them clean. With my tool box, jack's, and jack stands...once spotless clean, I spray them down with a liquid wax....then let dry in the sun. Do it once, sometime twice a year. No degreasing necessary. Stuff comes clean with alittle water...sometimes mild soap, and they will stay looking like new. I haven't tried it with tractors, because I haven't repainted any yet, so I can't see waxing something as nasty as they are. It does work great on nice paint. And, to remove it, just give it a degreasing. And, if anyone decides to try this, don't continuously recoat with wax. As with a car, wax buildup will dry, and yellow the color....it is only a protectant with a certain lifespan. Iwould never let it stay on something for mare than a year.

Thenrie......you could use a salamander for some quick heat!!! Mine works fine if I leave the door open, but the heat isn't sustained long enough to paint anything, just for some work around the shop. Of course there's always some good ole Jack to keep you warm!!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
