Default Found some Craigslist CC Attachments

I found some attachments on craiglist today. The lady said she doesn't know what tractor they were used on. Does anyone know? I am posting pictures of what she sent. I have a SLT 1554 and really just wanted the snow blade for now but if these work for my tractor then it might be a good deal for $500.00 for the lot. Any one know how well the roto tiller works? If they don't work for me maybe some one else on here may need them I would be happy to give the info. Thank you in advance for all the great info.

That blade will not work on your newer CC. They will work on any IH-built Cub Cadet, except for the blade, which only fits a wideframe.

The tillers work great, but that one's missing the gearbox from the looks of it. As rusty as all that stuff is, I'd have a hard time paying more than $200 for all of it, but that's just me.

Yeah, those attachments don't appear to be in the best condition, that tiller looks like it has been worked hard and put away wet, MANY times. I'd bet that it will cost you half that much again to get that tiller going.

I don't think the deal is worth $500 or even close. If everything was cleaned and painted it would be another story. The big plus I see are the two sleeve hitches on top of the harrow with at least one set of straps. That tiller has watched the sun rise and fall a many a time from the looks of it as the rest of the equipment has.

I personally wouldn't go over $200; that would be a good deal.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
