Default 782 vs 1450 snowblower

Got a line on a cub 782 with a two stage blower and cab, any idea if the blower will mount to a 1450 or 1650? Not sure on the model of the blower it's a 45" two stage. Thanks

It will. Why not leave it on the 782 though?

I see this is your first post, but been a long time member... I'd say welcome, but you've been a member longer than me!

The 782 is for sale and a buddy wants it, but he doesn't want the blower. I can't decide if I want the 782 he wants $1500 for it. 700hrs 50" decck and cab.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm not sure about that price without pics. Sounds kinda high, unless it's $1500 for ALL of what you listed. Does your buddy want the cab? I'd really like to see some pics of it!!!

He got it for $1400 with deck, cab and snowblower. I'm gonna buy his 1650 that needs rebuilt, the snowblower and the cab. There might still be some pics of the 782 with the cab and blower on it. Search craigslist in the des moines iowa area under farm and garden.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
