Ogura PTO clutch specs
The Ogura MA-GT-2 PTO clutch field coil on my 1250 is cooked .Does anyone know where to find the specs for this unit ( wire size , number of windings etc.) so I can have a local motor shop rebuild it. They can melt the potting material out and measure it but , it would be easier (and cheaper) if they knew the specs to begin with. All the other parts of the PTO are OK and the replacement unit for whole thing is available for $400-$500. So, I'm trying to save some money (that's about half what I paid for the whole tractor) The 1250 came with Warner or Ogura PTO's . Does anyone out there happen to have one or could they recommend a cheaper alternative? Thanks for any advice.

I think finding the spec's you are looking for would be as easy as winning the Lottery. I have never seen those specification's.
The only suggestion I have, is finding a good used PTO. You could try the Sponsors listed at the top of the page.
