Default Seat Time

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on here. Spring is a busy time for me. I did get to get the old 122 out & put the deck back under it to do some mowing. I wasn't sure how it was gonna go because it has set for 2 years or better but I was surprised at how well it did. I only had one issue & that was an idle pulley on the front went out on me. I don't have a doubt in my mind that with a new set of blades it'd be tough mower to beat. Pure enjoyment!!! The pics are of my son on it....

Mowing with an old cub is the best.

Thanks for the comments guys!! I think he had more fun than I did. I have got to get the 149 finished so I don't have to share the seat time lol.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
