44c on a 1572?
I want a smaller deck on my 1572 and have a 44c that was on my 782. Appears to mount OK. The deck wheels get pretty close to the rear tires of the tractor, but clear when raised, so looks ok to me. My question is, does anyone know what length belt this will take. The belt that was off of the 782 appears to be too short.

Going to the 1992 Cub Cadet Attachment Guide, it does NOT list the 44C as a suitable mower deck for the 1572. It lists the 46 and 50C as recommended decks. SO.....looks like you will have to get a rope out and measure around the pulleys.
