Bench Testing K321 Motor
How do I wire up this engine to bench test out of the tractor? I am not sure of the wiring arrangement and if I need a solenoid and an ignition switch. I should have pointed out that I actually want to start and run the engine.
Any help would be appreciated

I should have pointed out that I actually want to start and run the engine, so I probably confused the wording in the title when I said bench test.

You want a diagram to include a Start Circuit of a engine starter...???

hook a jumper cables to a battery. negative jumper cable to the block, from the pos side of the battery to the pos side of the coil with a light gauge wire , 16 gauge will work, then the pos jumper cable touch to the stud on the starter to crank. that's all you need other than a gas supply. want to turn it off take the ground side of the jumper cable off.
