Looks good, welcome to the joys of owning a Quietline. They are goodtractors though, I've enjoyed the ones I have had.

Some delay in re-installing the engine due to the motor rail snubbers not being in the recent parts shipment. So I'm waiting on them. Meanwhile, cleaning up and painting the sheet metal and frame.
Having some issue with static timing the engine. The only mark I can find on the flywheel is an "M" at what looks like close to the right location. Have any of you seen this mark? I was looking for an S or SP.

So I found the S timing mark on my 1450's engine--it is on the carb side of the engine, visible through a sight hole in the the flywheel shroud. New points, condenser, static timed, cleaned the breather. New flex disk on the engine. Rebuilt the carb (turns out it didn't need it, but when I'm on a roll..). reinstalled the drag link and tie rod and finished painting all the tins. Waiting now on the snubbers...

I see a cradle mod and I'm thinking you have a later QL series with the 1 inch front spindles? Good luck, Bill

yes, I've added the cross brace to the engine rails. Waiting on snubbers to reinstall the iso mounts and the cradle. And yes, 1 inch wheel spindles.
