Default Beats a Shovel

Finally got some shots of the cub plowing snow. Sorry there not the greatest but cant get anyone to come out in the snow while i'm plowing. You can see what i'm up against I used to shovel it all by hand, now I sit and smile.

Let's hope it's done, been snowing all day here in SW VA. Didn't stick but give me a break it's Mar 26th. and I moved here from CT to get away from this crap. I'm going groundhog hunting.

Cool vid. Pushly little critter.

I installed a plow on my 122 a couple weeks ago and banged around in the snow a while with just a set of chains, but couldn't get much done. I filled the tires with washer fluid and bolted on 55# wheel weights, and was able to plow 8" deep heavy snow off a 660' gravel driveway (2 steep hills).

I'm new to Cubs, and this little tractor impresses me to no end.

I'm also a cub newbie but the plow I got for my 107 about weighs as much as craftsman it 4000 with plow and weights so I'm hoping for the best. Definitely going to get chains and weights by next snow season.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
