I've been on craigslist 4 or 5 years now best I remember. Rarely buy anymore, just browse to see what's out there and sometimes run across something I want.
Anyway, since I've been on there, there's been a 72 as long as I can remember for $350 that the ad just says "runs good. cuts good" or something and sometimes has a pic. Been there as long as me with same pic which is a LONG time. Makes me wonder whats ACTUALLY wrong with it because that isn't bad for a running/cutting 72 and that long? Who knows.

WOW, this guy has determination, most would give up long before two years.

Do you have that much determination to sell??
I have seen it for about a year (I just started browsing CL). I figure the guy's wife wants to sell it, so he told her he would put it on Craig's List (with a price so it would be safe).

If that were closer to me, I would buy it in a heartbeat!

Its a super with wheel weights, chains, power steering and a blade. All you can buy new is a crappy lawn mower from Walmart for 1200 bucks!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
