If you ever end up in SW VA let me know and we can get together over a cold one and tell war stories.

Bolivier
OK now that I’m done goofing, something that I do WAY too much of, I’ll try to give you an honest answer. Becoming a senior member is only a matter of the amount of posts. No big deal and it will happen before you know it. The Mod thing is not a given, think of it like a job that needs doing, maybe one of the existing mods can’t do the job any longer or the amount of work to be done is too much for the existing crew. I wish I could say that an opportunity as a mod will be open on a certain date but I can’t and it is not my call. I will say that the upper level guys keep an eye on who is doing what and if the opening did occur and you had shown that you were the guy for the job you would probably get a phone call. Again let me stress I am not the one to make the call, I'm just the newbie MOD.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
