Thanks guys, and Methos, doors would be nice, but they were non-existe when i got it although the windshield does help with keeping the blowing snow out of your face.

I agree; I slip enough with my chains.

Since spring is right around the corner even here in western NY I decided it was time to see how well the new to me last Oct. 129 runs before tilling season. I put the snowblower on it last night which was easier than expected although I temporarily rigged up a lift rod using cable since I don't have the right material on hand to make a rod. There was 2-4" of heavy wet snow in the forecast, not ideal throwing stuff but figured it would be a good test.

I haven't given it a go yet this morning but we are well on the way to having 8" inches of somewhat dry snow and it is still coming! No weights or chains on the turfs so I expect traction to be an issue but it is mostly just a running test, the atv will take care of the bulk of the snow.

Will try to get a couple pics since I know how much you guys like those

Default snowblower pics

Here is the 129, no action shots since I was by myself. Worked ok all things considered, you can see the rust in the chute and the type of snow I was trying to blow. The snow was extremely wet, it was almost slush in places so it really didn't blow very well.

You can see the rolled up snow the atv moved, perfect for snowman making I suppose...

This is killing me. We got maybe 3" of snow all winter and then I pulled the 104 apart and we have gotten at least 12" since then. Murphy's law

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
