Default Issues with my cub 108
I have had my 108 for about a week now, and it has been making some new noises. They are coming from the front of the engine, but I can't determine what exactly is causing the noise. Its a real dry sounding noise, metal to metal. My question is, what is in there that went bad that all the sudden made this noise start. Thanks for any help you have to offer.

Perhaps, it is the Mechanical PTO Clutch.

Also check the basket pulley if it is loose and the bearing behind the clutch.

I would bet it is the PTO bearing going bad.

If you put the PTO in gear, see if the sound goes away.
