Default cub cadet 100 serial number question?
I been talking with a guy in EMAIL and asked him for the serial # of a Cub Cadet 100 he is selling. He gave me this number # is 3547 and when I said that number seems to be wrong and sent him a Picture of where the serial # is located all of a sudden he had better things to do and another buyer LOL.

Doesn't the CC 100 start at a number like 65,000? Could it be that the 100 has an Original trans on it or something?

Am sure it is an Original he is selling with the serial # he gave you.Did he say what size motor was in it?

Never said motor size just told me it is a 100 with fender,lights,creeper.

Looks like a 100 to me.
The original tranny will not fit.It is specific to that model only.
Looks to be an earlier model as the steering wheel is the older type.
I see it has a creeper...and lights...and roundy fenders. Grab it!!!!

His Serial Number would not be accurate for a 100.

Ok, so it is definatly a 100... If you want it, what difference does the serial number make?

My 100 serial number was in fact on the right side of the transmission, stamped on that little square protruding there from. Mine was something like 117xxx, . May be he is not reading all of the serial number.

Good luck with the 100, hope you can get it!
