A 1x2 or earlier headlights will not fit your 104.

Other models that headlights would interchange to your 104 include 72, 105, 124, 125.

Even headlights from a 73, 106, 107, 126, 127, or 147 will fit. BUT, they will have the extra square retainer/decorative piece around the front of them and isn't considered "correct", but they will fit. (I'm sure the correct police will be ALL over that comment...)

Hope this helps

I am not wanting the headlights, just the filler panel. so the panels from a 104, 72, 105, 124, 125 will fit my tractor

Sorry, I misunderstood! Yes, you are correct. Also the 1x6-1x7 series panels will fit too. Instead of the striped decal it will be black for the 1x6/1x7 series panels. Both will fit.

Jeff, I have been looking at those clocks, I've seem em on eBay lately, but I wish it was lighted. I may get one with the Original or 104 on it, I've got 2 of each of those cubs.

Yeah lighted would be nice but if I am in the garage the lights are on so I can see it. I also don't want to have to run a extra outlet up high to plug the thing in. Ill snap a pic so you can see the real thing once I get it.

I suppose you are right, I will have the lights on when I'm in the shop. Cool, look forward to the pic. Is that the one from the guy on eBay, he will do custom ones, I wonder if he would do both of my cubs on the same clock.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
