I would not follow the torque spec in that install guide.

got um on the way, 3 to 4 days............ so next weekend I might be driving a tandom axle cub around in the yard. trying to sink up both pumps...... that'll be fun.

Yes. Long ago people discovered that there was less vibration by only tightening them such that 2 threads were showing above the nut. If you tighten them to the spec in the instructions you'll probably squash them.

Now I read this! I just installed a set of the $80 mounts on my 1650. I torqued to spec. They did compress some, but seemed like a reasonable amount. Have about 3/8 inch of thread exposed above the lock nut. I guess we'll see how they do.
