I like the bigger tractors.........you know bigger is always better....LOL
If I wasn't fortunate enough to own the two Supers, I would definitely have the 582 set up or a 1650, depending on if you want hydro or if manual is okay. I also have a 1200 that is a great tractor. ALSO..........once you get started down this path, I serioulsy doubt that you will stick with just one. Cuz you know...deal that you can't pass up here or there, parts tractor cheap, friend knows that you like them and drops one off for you.......and on and on and on. Have fun on your journey, it will be fun and IT IS AN ADDICTION.

I guess thats cause my 582 has Big twin 18 B&S in it, its very good on gas. that 682 with the M18 did suck the gas . so Id say you guys are right.
but there again the old ones are just cool . Like my Trans AM's , people say . how can you afford the gas in that Pont 400? its got to suck the fuel. and I just say with a smile, YES It Does...........

Not sure about that chain to snow blade setup, something made up but if it works that's what counts. Looks like the snow blade on the 105 only needs the lift rod bracket to make it correct. Have fun with whatever one you choose.

Did you buy one yet? if not. Get both tractors and all the attachments they have too. Both look better than some of the stuff I have drug home. As you get acquainted with them you can decide which one you like best.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
