I took it apart yesterday. the plastic bushing is just about gone. I ordered one for this and one for my other 149 and a few other things from one of the sponsors here. I try to order a bunch of stuff to get the most out of the fixed shipping price. Hopefully I'll have this 149 ready to play, or um "work" by the end of the week.

My new bushing came yesterday. It took about 10 minutes to install it. You can see in the image how worn the (red) old one was. I bought two so I'll have one handy for my other 149. The bushing tightened up the linkage, but I didn't get it working right until I re-centered the cam bracket. Now it works great. No creep and speed holds where I want it.

Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.

I did find that it was much easier to put the shaft and bushing back together with that bracket back in place and snugged up.
