Default Any hope for a stripped exhaust pipe hole?

I've been meaning to ask, but I think I know the answer. Is there any fix for a stripped cylinder exhaust pipe on a 161 (7 horse?)

My guess is that a good machince shop should be able to bore it and put a bushing in.

Default Mess up threads

I don't know about the cast iron
Blocks but I have had shafts sprayed
Up with torch and remachined to original
Specs . If so it could be rethreaded

Now if you are refering to the threaded 1" pipe thread in the block,
if the threads are not completly gone, you can cut the end of a pipe tap off some, and rethread the block oversize a bit (tapered tap)
then cut yourself a nipple oversize by adjusting your pipe die to the big side.
A good Hwd store will be able do this if you have no pipe dies.
yes it will be a special deal/size but it will save it.
Welding/brazing usually don't turn out well on burned out exhaust manifold or
block,as it is like trying to weld carbon.
Best to get the oversize pipe cut first, then tap the block to accept it, about 2 turns before binding/getting tight.
