those are in remarkable condition. I thought my original was in the 6 to 7 category for being unrestored but if those two are also un-restored- im being forced to re-evaluate. i have a couple 122s as well. one with creeper drive. What i want to know is how have you been lucky enough to find multiple PTO equipped CC's? If you have a tree that grows them, I want a start off of it!

great looking machines and im looking forward to seeing the final product.

John

John thanks! They are worse off then they look and lots of mechanical problems that I'll have to fix. I can promise you when Adam and I are done they'll put the before to shame.

Here's two O's we did. Rear pto's take luck and cash to find.

Duke, Those originals are beautiful!

The back rest on the one- was that a factory option, I have never seen one.

My original had a 3 point, but nothing more special than that...

I am sure you have your work cut out for you, but the before pictures are so much nicer than i get to see them in this area.

Do you plan to post the part numbers and vendors for the two you are working on- or do the rest of us get to do our own homework?
John

Wish my tractors looked that nice. Guess ole Duke will have to come up here and shot some paint on mine, seems like I will never get around to it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
