Welcome to our site. Check out local sales/auctions that may have some old "O" parts. I went to one and they had parts laid out on the lawn My son and I picked up a grill, seat, and another part for our "O" out of the pile. Afterwards we both kicked ourselves for not getting much more at $10.00 a piece. Oh well no sense being dumb unless you show it once in a while.

Memphis!! Great to see another Minnesotan join the group. I'm not too far from you... just across the river up in Ramsey. There are a few folks within a hour drive of you who have all kinds of parts & knowledge that they're willing to share. And being new to the Cub scene (and the forum), stop by often. The people here are the best around & maybe a bit better.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
