Yes it probably will. Get a turnbuckle and secure it from the top hole in your clutch hanger up to your dash. I did mine from the center hole in the hanger up to one side of the dash. Works good and is adjustable. Mike

This is why it's important to use the service manual when repairing the tractor. Parts diagrams are just that and not meant to be accurate enough to figure out how something goes together, and we've discovered numerous errors and misrepresentations in them, that one included.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
