Yepper, set it down on the floor on blocks. Good ergonomics, bend at the knees and not the back, and don't do it very often. When I had to pull the motor out of my 982, I did run a ratchet strap to the engine mounts and put a bar through that utilizing my wife's help. Never heard the end of that. Guess I was too lazy to pull the cherry picker out. Woulda been a pain to muscle that Onan by myself though.

My son and I removed the engine from my 2084. That is a Command 20 horse. I am 70 and son is 40 something. Both of us are bad backs and between us we have one good knee and had no trouble getting the engine out by only unhooking the wiring and removing some bolts and carb cables. As said by several before it is more awkward than heavy.

Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.

Default lifting motor

I was looking for a rolling automotive engine crane. Found that too expensive. Then I found a used invalid lift,which was rated @ 250 lbs for $25. Perfect for my needs, just does not work well on gravel Put the 105 on a 4x8 sheet of 1/2 inch (cheap) ply. SWEET>

I'm pretty sure a fully-assembled K341 is a lot heavier than a CH20...there's almost no cast iron in a Command twin...
