Unhappy 126 Help

I was mowing grass the other day when I heard a big boom sound. I thought i hit something with the blades of the deck, so I went back to the house and cut off the engine so that I could look under the deck. I couldn't see anything wrong so I was going to continue cutting my grass but it wouldn't start. I have no Idea what could be wrong with it. the engine ran very well before this so i know it has to be electrical. I hooked up a battery charger to it to make sure the battery wasn't dead. any advice would be helpful!

Did something silly like the coil wire fall off of the spark plug/coil? Is it out of gas? (yeah I know it sounds silly but I've done it before.)

Good luck with getting it running again.

Did the battery blow up I had this happen once. The only sign that it had was the cracked case.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
