Yeah, those creepers are expensive. Found mine at the spring swap meet at Portland, IN.
Everything is back together minus the clutch. I've been so busy lately, the clutch is still sitting on my bench. Had to make a new driveshaft at 3/16 longer than what is specified. Don't know why I had to do that, but it's working out ok. Working on finishing up the mower deck. Figured since I don't have to cut the grass because of the drought, I might as well spruce up the deck and replace a wobbly spindle and bearings. Ready to prime and paint the deck now once I install the baffle I made.

Well, the clutch will not disengage. The machine shop messed up the holes they drilled. I guess I'll have to cut off my old one and reuse it. I would order a creeper shaft, but mine has to be about 3/16 inch longer than usual.
This is getting to be very annoying. On the plus side, I'm getting good at rebuilding clutches.

My thoughts exactly. They primarily build engines and did a good job on boring my engine and turning the crank, so I figured they could drill a hole. Guess not.

I cut down my old driveshaft that I wanted to save, drilled my own hole in the end of it with a center punch and a drill press and it works!
Got it installed tonight and everything works as expected. I was surprised to see just how slow those creepers go.
