So, I would like some wider AG tires for the rear of my 100. What is the widest tires that I should get?
Also, are these a good fit for the stock front wheels? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-4-00-8-4P-...#ht_1161wt_932 Thanks, Brent |

Everything depends on what size rims you have now. If you have 6-12 rear tires then you'll need wider rims. If you have 23-8.50-12 tires, then you should have a 7" wide rim and the 23-10.50-12's will fit. The 23-10.50-12's will fit either the 7" wide rim or the 8.5" wide rim.

For the front tires, to use the ones off of ebay, you really need to have the narrow front rims. If your current front tires are 4.00x8 then you'll be ok. If it has the 16.50x8x8 then you'll need to go with the size that is currently on the rims.
The 4.00x8 tri-ribs are a little bit taller than the stock 16.50x8x8. That's why I went with the 3.50x8 tri-ribs on my 782. They look closer to the stock size. Basically the 4.00 are about 18" tall. The 3.50's are about 16" talls. AJ

Yeah my wheels definitely aren't 7" wide. So the 6" ag tires it is for me I guess.
Thanks |

I already have skinny wheels up front. I think the tire says like 4.8-4.0-8. Something close to that.

I was wondering why they had the 3.5" tires for the front. Makes sense now, my other mower has 16" tall tires in the front. Cool Cool

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
