108 head light issue
A little while back, I had installed lights on my Cub, frame mounted, but I wired them exactly like the diagram shows for my cub. The issue is that one light (right) is far brighter than the other. Is there any way I can get even light from both?

Sounds to me like a ground problem? How are the lights grounded?

Definately sounds like a ground, only other thing I can think of might be 2 different brand/style bulbs. I'd check the grounding first though.

Check both bulbs have the same part #. Bulbs that look alike are not necessarily the same rating.
One quick way to check is to swap the bulbs in the holders. If the low output follows the bulb, you have your answer. As has been mentioned, a bad ground on the low output bulb is possible, so is a resistance in the feed wire or the bulb holder of the low output lamp.

Thanks for the replies! I have it grounded on the right side panel on the frame as i didnt have any connectors big enough to ground it to the gas tank brackets. Ill check the bulbs, as that could be my problem, and will let everyone know since i made the mistake of buying the lights seperatly at TSC

The bulb lens can be different on the lights, which controls the scatter of the light and can make one appear brighter than the other-the fewer the separations, the less scattering of the light.
