steering uprades
I'm looking to rebuild my whole steering setup on my 169. I want to rebuild the column and replace all 4 ball joints. I want it to be upgraded. I want to do the super steer upgrade and put Heim joint in. Could someone tell me where the best place to get this stuff? and what all I'll need. Also do you recommend doing anything else? thanks

Take a look at this site. This is where I got them for my 1650. They work great and I have not had any problems with them. They seem to have a good price on them.

I have also seen that there is a bearing that you can put in the top of the column (by the steering wheel) to replace the nylon bearing with a ball bearing setup. I saw it on a pulling website but i do not know what the bearing number would be. i would like to know the number for someplace like McMaster Carr.

1979 1650, #1 tiller with one extension, 90 degree box mounted, 3 point. 1961 4 digit bringing back to life. I have the mower and 3 pint for it. The 1650 is the fastest mower in the neighborhood.
